The Countdown is On

School is almost out, we're getting ready to hit the race track and summer vacation is right around the corner. I can't wait until those lazy days of summer.

We've been keeping an eye on the resort here, and there is so much to do over the summer months. We knew about the big stuff - the lakes and beaches, the pools, the boat rentals and golf courses. What we didn't know are the various activities they offer.

There is the playground club for the kids from 9 - 1:30 each day. This offers the kids mini golf, sports, swimming, arts and crafts and the works all for only $10 a day. Can't beat that! They also have swimming lessons for the kids here, too. Nicholas wants to take swimming lessons, so that works out great.

George Thorogood will be here at the Ski Lodge the end of August. Jay is psyched for tickets to that. The Ski Lodge is a small little bar, and I guess there will be indoor and outdoor seating available. Property owners get first dibs at indoor seating, and you bet your ass we'll be there.

They are having craft shows and boat shows and car shows here throughout the summer. And a huge all day thing for the 4th of July.

Looks like it's going to be a good summer in PA.
