The Pocono 500 Rain Festival

We experienced our very first live Nascar race this past weekend, and everyone had a great time. Of course, the race was almost three hours delayed because of rain, and then another rain storm sent the red flag out, stopping the race only halfway through, so most of the day was spent drying out and tailgating.

Nicholas stood on the bleacher seats waving his #24 hat in the air and screaming for Gordon to GO GO GO!!! He was ticked as Gordon lost the lead by taking a pit stop, but got the last laugh in the end when he was declared the winner.

Devon was cheering on everyone from the leader to the last. He was just caught up in the moment.

And Junior is definitely the doll of Nascar. Each time he passed a car, the crowd went wild.

Even with the rain, we had a great time. I'd do it again, for sure.
